Job Description The Video Journalist will create custom content for OGS’s video verticals and related social platforms. Sitting under the video team, the candidate must be adaptable to OGS’s wide range of infotainment video formats including, but not limited to, documentaries, interview talk shows, hosted programmes and/or any new formats conceptualised. We’re seeking a creative-minded producer who is passionate about both digital media and native advertising. Candidates should be interested in what makes someone share and how people engage with content online. The candidate will be generating ideas for a variety of formats, shooting, editing and publishing. Candidates should also be proactive workers who are motivated and independent. Responsibilities:

- Research and pitch fresh and relevant content ideas and video concepts for OGS’s YouTube and Facebook pages - Produce & shoot videos for social media publications - Research and pitch relevant content ideas for production - Operation of camera, lighting and audio equipment for shoots - Handle uploads through our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube publishing processes - Write social copies for publication - Assist with file management, footage and assets organization Requirements:

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Film, Media or a relevant discipline; - Minimum 3-4 years experience in video production and/or prior experience in the digital publishing industry (i.e prior experience in producing for personal or other YouTube channels) - Prior experience in hosting onscreen is a plus - Interest in explainers, interview talk shows, and documentaries - Well-versed with YouTube & Facebook platforms and has a good understanding of what sustains the attention of viewers on these platforms - Basic knowledge in softwares like Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop - Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting and audio setups for shoots - Detail oriented and organised - Ability to meet tight deadlines.
