AT&T Business International is seeking a driven and creative Technical Intern to join our team. If you want to expand your expertise in backend development, data science, data engineering, or deep learning, this role offers hands-on opportunities to experiment with Proof of Value concepts and explore long-term AI/ML and Deep Learning applications.
What You’ll Do
- AI Application Development & Integration: Develop and integrate AI applications, including large language model (LLM) chat systems combined with advanced approaches such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent-based workflows, and toolset development. - Experiment with MCP servers and develop machine learning components for internal applications, including API endpoint creation. - Build preventive systems focused on sensitive data protection (e.g., SPI, RPI). Automated Metadata Extraction for Text-to-SQL: Explore and implement profiling, query log analysis, and SQL-to-text generation using LLMs. - Collaborate with AT&T researchers and use benchmarks like BIRD to improve extraction techniques. - AI Awareness & Adoption: Create engaging content leveraging LLM tools such as AT&T’s internal NotebookLM. - Actively promote AI adoption and support users in adapting to new AI technologies across the organization. - Use Case Identification & Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze needs and identify high-impact AI use cases. - Design and implement strategies to increase awareness and adoption of AI tools. - Research & Data Analysis: Stay updated on emerging AI/ML trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions. - Support data-driven decision-making by gathering and analyzing relevant data for AI initiatives. - Collaboration & Independent Work: Work independently on technical tasks including LLM implementation and API integration into new or existing application environments. - Partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align AI technologies with business goals.
