Job Description
Our client, a well-known, exciting, Australian entertainment company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to support their Group Accountant, in the financial management of the company. This dynamic role involves financial management reporting, overseeing payroll, bookkeeping, and assisting with overall financial operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The Role This is a dynamic, hands-on role that sits at the heart of our business, working closely with teams across touring, production, merchandising, and beyond. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, builds strong relationships, and contributes positively to a tight-knit team. Your responsibilities will span four key areas: Financial Management & Reporting Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Support financial analysis and forecasting to inform strategic decision-making Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with reporting standards Payroll Oversight Manage outsourced payroll processing end-to-end Ensure compliance with tax regulations and superannuation requirements Perform payroll reconciliations and reporting Bookkeeping & Accounts Management Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations Support cash flow management and day-to-day financial operations Support to Financial Controller & CEO Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and policy implementation Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies Liaise with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory bodies Salary: Up to $100K+super (With bonus' available)Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5pmLocation: Bella VistaAbout You: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial management, payroll, or bookkeeping. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks). Strong understanding of financial principles, tax regulations, and payroll requirements. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
