In this role, you’ll enjoy flexible outdoor work—walking and driving through your allocated neighbourhoods while recording utility meter readings.Hours : 7am–3pm or 8am–4pm, Monday to FridayLocation : Mount Isa and surrounding areasNo experience? No worries—we’ll provide full training to set you up for success. All you need is a positive attitude, a good level of fitness, and a willingness to work independently in the fresh air.What you needCurrent valid drivers licenceWhite Card (Construction Induction Card) required or willingness to obtainMobile phoneReady to learn and able to work on your ownAble to undertake plenty of walking, bending and squattingAble to work in most weather conditionsAble to work Mon - Fri, 5 days per week, 30 – 37.5 hours per weekFlexible and comfortable with daily travel of up to, or more than 45 minutes each wayPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail is requiredLive in Mount Isa or within ~30 minutes travel, or be willing to commuteKey ResponsibilitiesAccurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe mannerUphold the Service Stream safety standards and publicly represent Service Stream and our clients in a professional mannerUnderstand and ensure targets are metAbility to work independently but also work with other members of the teamRegularly communicate with office support teamUpload/download route information to/from hand-held deviceTravel to Cloncurry required 4 days per month for meter reading dutiesLocal area knowledge is desirable and will be highly regardedStrong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with your support teamWork smart and safe: assess risks, follow safety practices, and finish the job injury-freeBenefitsAccess to StreamLife, our Employee Benefits Program that provides a fantastic range of retail savings at hundreds of top brands as well as resources to help you stay active and healthyIndustry leaders providing services to the community for more than 30 years.
