Income Officer – Early Intervention Liverpool TemporaryPart Time - 14 Hours An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Income Officer / Early Intervention Officer to join a busy Customer Accounts team, supporting early intervention arrears cases and delivering high-quality customer service within a fast-paced housing environment. THE ROLE You will be responsible for managing lower-level arrears cases, ensuring timely intervention to maximise income collection and support tenancy sustainment.Manage rent accounts, service charges and sundry debts up to court stageConduct high-volume inbound and outbound calls to engage customers and secure paymentsProvide basic welfare benefits advice and liaise with HB/DWP where requiredSupport tenancy sign-ups, ensuring customers understand payment responsibilitiesEnsure all actions comply with pre-action protocols and relevant legislationWork collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to achieve positive outcomesCarry out administrative tasks and contribute to team KPIs and performance targetsTHE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an income recovery or housing-related role and be confident working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Proven experience in income collection, arrears management or debt recoveryStrong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectivelyExperience delivering high levels of customer service across multiple channelsAbility to manage workload independently and remain highly organisedCompetent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing systemsTHE CONTRACT WORKING HOURS: Part Time – 14 hours per week (2 days) LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 3 Month Contract RATE: The pay for the role is £22.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £18.76 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
