Flexibility on site presence and outside IR35Opportunity to work on a large, long‑term investment projectAbout Our ClientA major energy and infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Capex / Project Accountant to support a large, long‑term capital investment programme.The role sits within a multi‑million‑pound project, alongside a finance systems migration, and will focus on establishing robust project accounting and reporting on capex spendJob DescriptionEnsure accurate tracking, reporting and governance of capex spendDevelop asset and accounting structures to support future capitalisationSupport a finance systems transition within a dual‑system environmentWork closely with the project team, Finance Director, shareholders and other stakeholdersInstitute monthly processes to assess and record project accounting entries, including accruals and prepaymentsDevelop and implement monthly forecasting processesEstablish and manage controls around the drawdown of project contingencyAssist the Finance Director in developing processes and reporting for capital projects and fixed assets
