Paraplanner Location: Hertfordshire Contract: Permanent Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum Start Date: Flexible *Hybrid Working available* Contact: (url removed) Job Description An established Independent Financial Advisory firm based in Hertford is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to support a team of Financial Advisers in delivering high-quality financial planning services to a broad client base. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Paraplanner who enjoys producing detailed suitability reports, conducting research, and working closely with Advisers to deliver tailored financial solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and compliant suitability reports across Pensions, Investments, Protection, Retirement planning and Estate and Tax planningConduct technical research and analysis using industry research toolsAssist Advisers with complex financial planning casesAnalyse existing client portfolios and recommend suitable solutionsLiaise with providers and third parties to gather plan informationEnsure all recommendations meet FCA compliance standardsSupport annual reviews and ongoing servicing requirementsMaintain accurate client records and documentationWork collaboratively with Advisers and Administration teams to ensure smooth client journeysCandidate CriteriaPrevious experience working as a Paraplanner within an IFA/Financial Planning firmStrong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection productsExperience writing suitability reports independentlyDiploma qualified or working towards Level 4 qualification preferredStrong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIf you are interested in the role, or know of anyone who could be, please contact Greg at Service Care Solutions on (phone number removed) or email (url removed) Service Care Solutions also offers a £250 referral bonus!
