Construction DirectorLocation: North WestSalary: £120,000 - £150,000 + Car / Allowance + Package We're supporting a growing contractor and housebuilder with an established development arm, known for delivering high‑quality residential and mixed‑tenure schemes across the region. The business has already delivered a significant number of homes over recent years and built strong relationships with partners, funders and local authorities. Under new ownership and guided by two highly respected senior leaders with extensive experience delivering large‑scale residential projects across the UK, the company is now entering a new phase of growth. With existing schemes underway, a healthy pipeline of units and a clear ambition to modernise and strengthen the construction function, this is a pivotal moment to join. Key Responsibilities: Lead the construction function across multiple residential schemes, ensuring safe, high‑quality and timely deliveryOversee the full build lifecycle, embedding strong programme discipline and buildability from pre‑construction through to completionWork closely with senior leadership to shape construction strategy, sequencing, logistics and delivery modelsBuild, mentor and develop a high‑performing construction team with clear standards, accountability and strong site leadershipCollaborate with Commercial, Technical and Pre‑Construction teams to ensure alignment on programme, cost, quality and riskMaintain rigorous health and safety standards across all sites, ensuring a culture of safe working practicesSupport early‑stage planning and design reviews to ensure efficiency, buildability and commercial viabilityDrive continuous improvement, implementing systems, processes and ways of working that support growth and operational excellenceRepresent construction at senior leadership level, contributing to business planning, forecasting and long‑term strategyEnsure customer satisfaction benchmarks are met, with a focus on quality, handover standards and aftercare performance What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Construction Director or Senior Construction Leader within residential development, housebuilding or mixed‑use deliveryStrong track record delivering multi‑site programmes across traditional housing and/or mixed‑use or mid‑rise schemesA hands‑on, energetic leader who thrives in a fast‑moving, delivery‑focused environmentExperience shaping or improving construction systems, processes and delivery modelsAbility to build and inspire teams, set standards and drive accountabilityCommercial awareness and understanding of how construction decisions impact programme, cost and qualityA collaborative approach, working closely with Technical, Commercial and Pre‑Con to ensure alignmentSomeone who wants to be part of a rebuild - comfortable with challenge, excited by opportunity and motivated by creating something meaningful What's In It For You: Basic Salary: £120,000-£150,000Car / Car AllowanceBonus Structure25+ Days Holiday + Bank HolidaysPension & Benefits PackageThe chance to join early and shape the construction function from the ground upDirect access to a highly respected leadership team with a track record of building successful residential businessesReal influence, autonomy and the opportunity to put your stamp on a growing organisationA pipeline of existing schemes and future opportunities that will support long‑term growth and progression
