About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting fundamentals who enjoys managing end-to-end AP and AR functions in a dynamic business environment. Experience with Xero is essential.Accounts Payable Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and on time. Prepare and schedule supplier payments, ensuring appropriate approvals. Reconcile supplier statements and respond to payment queries. Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies. Accounts Receivable Assisting with invoicing and accounts receivableGeneral Accounting Support Travel arrangementsCredit card reconciliationSupport the finance team with ad-hoc analysis, data entry, and account reconciliations. Assist with maintaining accounting systems and process improvements. Skills and Qualifications Prior experience in accounts payable and receivable roles. Proficiency with XERO softwareStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Proficiency in computer software including Office i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to work independently as well as in a group environmentExcellent oral, written, and numeracy skills.Intermediate to high level proficiency in Excel preferred but not essentialThe ability to follow up with clients in a professional manner.Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
