Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced E-commerce & Brand Licensing Consultant for one of our clients. Our client manages a portfolio of brands that are licensed to external partners who market and sell products under these brand names. To ensure a consistent and high-quality brand experience across online channels, the client is seeking a dedicated resource to establish and govern a scalable e-commerce and marketplace framework. The goal is to create a controlled environment where the client retains ownership of governance, digital assets, and access rights while enabling licensees to operate successfully within defined guidelines. Key Responsibilities Analyze the current online go-to-market landscape for licensed brands and identify opportunities, risks, and operational challenges. Evaluate relevant e-commerce business models, sales channels, and partnership structures to determine the most effective approach. Develop recommendations for the optimal online go-to-market setup for each brand. Collaborate with stakeholders across Brand, Legal, Digital, E-commerce, IT, and Sales functions to establish clear ownership and responsibilities. Lead the implementation of marketplace and e-commerce solutions, including account creation, brand store setup, and operational processes. Support and onboard licensees, ensuring they have the appropriate access, permissions, and guidance to operate within brand standards. Establish and maintain documentation covering credentials, permissions, governance processes, and operational handover materials. Monitor and improve licensee-operated websites and define governance principles for traffic management from official brand domains. Ensure a structured transition and handover plan to support continued operations after the assignment concludes. Required Qualifications 5–10 years of practical experience within e-commerce, marketplace management, or brand licensing. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, solve problems, and drive initiatives forward. Strategic as well as hands-on, with the ability to both define and execute plans. Strong communication skills and confidence in challenging existing ways of working when needed. Proven experience maintaining brand consistency across digital channels and marketplaces. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Highly organized, structured, and operationally focused. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Language Requirements: English required; Swedish is considered a plus Meritorious Strong understanding of marketplace ecosystems; experience with Amazon is highly desirable. Experience from the US market and platforms such as Walmart or Home Depot is considered an advantage.
