Hi-Quality Heavy Haulage, a highly reputable privately owned Australian family company, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our Heavy Haulage team based in Carole Park QLD.Our company specialises in heavy transport of oversize and over mass items Australia wide.Position OverviewBeing part of the Heavy Haulage team, We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee and manage our financial operations, including payroll, financial reporting, P&L Management, creditor/supplier control and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial systems and processes efficiently.Key responsibilities:Preparation of Weekly Payroll (BASS, PAYG, Superannuation) and other associated tasks Deliver timely and accurate end-of-month (EOM) and end-of-financial-year (EFY) reportsOversee the accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliation.Manage cash flowEnsure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.Highly AdvantageousPrevious experience as a Finance Manager or Controller in the Transport industry or similarPrevious experience as a Finance Manager or Controller in small business finance or similar To be successful in this role you will have:Experience with Xero Accounting SoftwareProven experience as a Finance Manager or Financial ControllerExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalTechnically and analytically minded with attention to detailsExperience working in a fast paced environmentThe ability to analyse issues and troubleshoot effectivelyAbility to work autonomously and with minimal supervisionAbility to work well as part of a team and demonstrate excellent organisational skillsA genuine interest in heavy haulageHow to apply:If you feel you are suitable for this position, we would like to hear from you.
