Our boats “fly” thanks to computer-guided underwater wings under the hull made out of lightweight carbon fiber. The wings lift the vessel above the water, which results in cutting energy use by up to 80%, while offering zero emissions and a far better passenger experience than traditional diesel vessels. We are looking for Purchaser to support Candela’s future growth ambitions. Your core responsibilities will include: Manage daily purchasing operations for an assigned supplier portfolio. This includes monitoring and continuously improve replenishment parameters to ensure orders are placed in a timely matter. Ensure high availability of parts, optimized inventory and proactive resolving supply chain issues. Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data in Excel and Odoo (ERP-system). Build close collaboration with suppliers ensuring continuous follow up on delivery performance and effective resolution of discrepancies. Closely collaborate with team internally (sourcing, production, quality, etc.) to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Track and evaluate supplier performance and escalate risks as needed. Renegotiate MOQ’s, pricing, tactical cost (freight, service/package fees) for transactional suppliers. Contribute to improving ways of working within purchasing, enhancing processes, supplier performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness.

What are we looking for? We are seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented and reliable person to join our Supply Chain team. We need a team player that has great communications skills that you will use daily in communication with suppliers. The role is a part of the Supply Chain team working closely to production as well as Strategic sourcing, R&D and external suppliers. The goal of the team is to ensure a high parts availability while improving efficiency and profitability. We are also looking for someone who actively contributes to improving how we work and helps take the function to the next level. Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in operational purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (ideally from manufacturing industry). Proficiency in ERP/Inventory software and can easily familiarize with new business systems (Ideally in Odoo) Proven ability to handle commercial disputes and negotiable tactical cost (freight, service fees,...) Familiarity with diverse material categories (DM and IM) and basic understanding of logistic/incoterms High capacity to manage a high volume of transactions and multi-task across different categories. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Strong Excel skills (formula, data analysis, etc.) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistic, Supply Chain management or a related field is a plus
