Pastoral Support Assistant
TimePlan Education is working with a secondary school seeking a compassionate Pastoral Support Assistant to support student well-being, attendance and behaviour. This role is perfect for someone with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys helping young people overcome challenges and thrive.
As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will:
- Support students with attendance, behaviour and emotional needs. - Work with families, teachers and external agencies to create support plans. - Facilitate mentoring, check-ins and reintegration after absences. - Promote positive behaviour and help create a nurturing school environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting young people in pastoral, youth work or care settings. - Be empathetic, resilient and excellent at building trust with students. - Be organised with good communication skills and able to handle sensitive issues.
