With a long track record of growth and a consistently strong external audit history, the business places significant emphasis on governance, transparency and long‑term stewardship.Job DescriptionThe Financial Controller will take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls and ongoing compliance. Key responsibilities include:Production of timely monthly management accounts with commentaryOwnership of balance sheet reconciliations, controls and integrityPreparation of statutory accounts and management of the external auditBudgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support decision‑makingOversight of VAT, payroll liaison and statutory complianceDevelopment and documentation of finance policies and proceduresLine management and development of a small finance teamActing as the primary contact for auditors and external advisers
