Project Leader - BDPO Hub Company Description Inter IKEA Group brings together three areas: Retail Concept, Range and Supply. Together we work constantly to improve the IKEA home furnishing offer and make it more accessible for the many people. You will be part of IKEA Supply and the Supply Chain Development organization. IKEA Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost. Job Description You will support our stakeholders by simultaneously leading and/or being part of the execution of several medium and high complexity projects assigned to you. You will lead Projects from Project Directive until full completion of the agreed deliverables. The Project types are supporting business units in the execution of Supply Strategy and other strategic movement across IKEA. You will work in a truly global environment and lead multi-disciplinary teams of high performing individuals from across businesses to drive change. You will develop high performing Project teams, coach and support the Project members in a global and multicultural environment. You will actively contribute to the development of Ways of Working, Process- and Project Management, and Strategic Business Development capabilities both within BDPO and the Supply Project Management community. You will proactively contribute with knowledge & experience to the stakeholders & BDPO team. You will contribute to attracting talents in future recruitment processes for Project & Program Leader roles. Responsibilities & tasks Independently simultaneously managing and/or support in several complex strategic business development projects, always towards full delivery and on time or faster Lead or support the overall project from the initial assignment through the completion/implementation, securing a fact-based and objective approach Manage full scope of project - time, costs, scope, risks, stakeholders, scenario planning, communication and change management Develop high performing project teams and manage dependencies Support business stakeholders across business units, in strengthening and accelerating strategic business development at IKEA Coach and support the project members and stakeholders Act as coach and mentor across CB Supply to strengthen project management competence Contribute and actively seek for improvements of the Business Development Project Office assignments and related wow Lead by example and proactively contribute by sharing your knowledge and experience At any time act as an ambassador of IKEA values and a role model for fact-based business leadership
Qualifications Specifics for Project Leaders To succeed in these roles, you have a solid business understanding and background, as well as strong skills and experience in working with medium complex projects across multiple functional areas, and strong knowledge of key business development processes and when to apply them.
