Job Summary Digital Solutions Development within PS&E Automation & Solution is responsible for developing new Factory OS™, that is our next-generation digital ecosystem, built on open, modular smart factory technologies and decades of industry expertise. You will be based in Modena, Italy or Lund, Sweden but you will work in a global arena. What you will do As our new System Infrastructure Developer, you will: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure system infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments Develop monitoring and alerting tools enabling proactive support to customer critical infrastructure. Collaborate with DevOps, Testing and Operation teams to support infrastructure and application lifecycle needs. Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform. Support the troubleshooting related to hypervisors, hosting virtual machines and container orchestrators together with DevOps team. Support the troubleshooting on installation manifests of target GitOps tools. Support in scouting tools for monitoring and proactive troubleshooting Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing sessions to grow your technical skills.
We believe you have You have a Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Automation Engineering or equivalent. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. Networking skill, CCNA or equivalent certification level. Ability to read, understand, and write code in .NET. Tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes. Virtualizations platforms such as ESXi, Hyper-V. Experience with scripting languages and automation such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible. Microsoft ARC and Flux. CKA/CKAD or Azure certifications is considered as a plus. You are fluent in English written and spoken. One of the following languages is considered as a plus: Italian, Swedish. You have good communications skills, written and spoken. Previous international studies/experience are considered meritorious.
