Job Title: IT Director Location: Sutton Pay Range: £49,000 – £52,000 per annum Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent ANZUK Education is working with a high-performing secondary school in Sutton seeking an IT Director to join their team for an immediate start. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to lead and shape the school's digital strategy during an exciting period of innovation and growth. This IT Director role in Sutton would suit experienced IT Directors, IT Managers, or Digital Strategy Leads ready to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities of the IT Director: Develop and deliver a clear IT strategy aligned with school priorities. Lead and manage all IT infrastructure, systems and digital services. Drive innovation in teaching and learning through effective use of technology. Ensure robust data protection, GDPR compliance and cybersecurity measures. Manage IT budgets, procurement and external suppliers. Oversee IT projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Lead and develop the IT team to deliver high-quality support services. Support staff and students with effective and accessible digital solutions. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold relevant IT qualifications or equivalent professional experience in an IT leadership role. Have proven experience managing IT teams, budgets and service delivery, ideally within an education setting. Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across infrastructure, networks, cloud services and cybersecurity. Have a track record of delivering IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives to a high standard. Hold an exemplary commitment to safeguarding, data protection and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
