We are hiring a Professional Dog trainer and/or Doggy Day Care Team Leader!Location: West End, BrisbaneIf you are interested in the position, please send your resume to info@doggydaycarebrisbane.com.auWe are looking for:- A trainer who currently holds NDT Cert 3 qualifications in Dog Training and Behaviour (or equivalent)- Demonstrated dog training skill-set; To be ready to hit the ground running and be confident in offering the following services:Puppy SchoolOne on One TrainingIn House TrainingGroup Classes- A trainer who is confident with the handling of dogs, including in a group play (social) environment.- A trainer who has customer service experience and the ability to talk through complex behavioural observations in a positive and upbeat tone. After all, there are no bad dogs, just some with lots to learn.- A trainer who is passionate about working closely with their team and proactive in implementing and modelling training techniques and guidance to our team of teachers to assist with the high level of care we provide to the dogs we care for.- A trainer who is experienced with enrichment and mental stimulation games who will continually work to improve what is on offer for our lucky fur kids.- A team member experienced with the Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive, and who has the ability to learn our day care booking system.- A team member who is active and healthy as looking after energetic dogs requires staff to be on their feet for long periods of time.- A team member who thinks on their feet who can adapt to different environments and is happy to grow with the business.- A team member who has at least 2 years experience in the dog day care industry.Job Types: CasualExperience:Dog training: 2 years (Preferred)Doggy Day Care Teacher: 2 years (Preferred)Licence/Certification:NDT Cert 3 qualification in Dog Training and Behaviour (Must)Work Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Valid work visa for Australia is acceptable for this positionWork Location: In person, West End
