PE Global is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for a leading multi-national Technology client based in Aycliffe.

This is an initial 3 months contract position. Pay rate: £18.38/hour PAYE 39 hours per week. Hours between 8am & 8pm Mon-Fri – Flexibility with shift work

Duties of the role/Responsibilities • Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. • Worker will operate production machines to perform operations or produce parts. • Sets up machines, loads raw material into machines, manually operates machines, and unloads finished product from machine. • Works from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures, which requires the application of some judgment and selectivity. • Operator has control over product quality.

Education/Experience • Flexibility with shift work. • Good mechanical aptitude and skills are required. • Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred. • Safety conscious, able to learn new tasks and take direction, work well as part of a team, ideally production and shift working experience. • Similar manufacturing experience.
