About the roleWe are seeking a motivated and organised Repair Coordinator to join our team at Western Building. This full-time role is based in our South Melbourne office, with flexibility for WFH. Join our team and be a part of our continued success.What you'll be doingCoordinate and manage insurance repair jobs through to completionLiaise with homeowners, insurers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure repairs progress on time, within budget and excel in quality expectationsMonitor job progress, identify issues early, and proactively communicate updates to all stakeholdersAssist with scheduling trades and subcontractor services to meet repair timelines Maintain accurate job records and documentation in our project management systemsEnsure repairs adhere to quality standards, safety requirements, and insurer guidelinesWhat we're looking forExperience in a coordination, scheduling, or administration role - experience in insurance building or construction is highly regardedStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneouslyIntermediate technical knowledgeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence liaising with a range of stakeholdersA proactive, problem-solving mindset with a high attention to detailProficiency in Word, Excel, and OutlookProficiency in job management systems and workflowsExperience with insurer portals or construction/project management software is advantageousWhat we offerAt Western Building, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
