Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and driven Supplier Quality Manager to join our Supplier Quality team and be based on our production and R&D site in Sundsvall, Sweden. This role will focus on providing tactical support to production site Sundsvall as well as leading Supplier Quality activities within Innovation Nodes (New Product Development projects and assignments). The Supplier Quality Manager acts as the link between R&D, Sourcing, Operations and suppliers to ensure full alignment of Permobil technical requirements. Key Responsibilities Overall responsible for end-to-end plan and delivery of Supplier Quality processes within Innovation Nodes, including new products and change initiatives Owner of the Project Supplier Quality Assurance Plan (P-SQAP) including all sub-processes and parts approval processes (PPAPs) Providing hands-on tactical support to production unit Sundsvall and be the ambassador for zero-defect mindset Fostering a culture of quality excellence at site Sundsvall and be the go-to person for coaching around quality principles, practices and tools Ensuring high level of cross-functional alignment between R&D, Sourcing, Supplier Quality and Operations in executing projects and assignments Ensuring mutual understanding between Permobil R&D and Permobil suppliers to ensure designs requirements are understood by and match supplier capabilities Leading escalations and deviation management activities to ensure efficient implementation Providing reports to management and other stakeholders including progress reports and action plans
Other responsibilities related to Supplier Quality activities outside projects may include: Supporting supplier development and focus on supplier improvement activities Driving Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCARs) Performing supplier audits Performing supplier performance monitoring and reporting Providing escalation support to the site SQE and Production Unit including claim handling resolution Reviewing and approves reports and documents for Supplier Quality activities
Qualifications University Degree (or similar) in engineering, quality, or a related technical field; or equivalent experience in related fields such as quality engineering, production engineering, supply chain, product development, or project management Experience from working in high-impact New Product Development projects in global environment Experience of planning and implementing Project Quality Plans (e.g. APQA/PPAP and similar methodologies) High level of fluency in reading and understanding engineering 3D models and 2D drawings Experience of performing supplier audits Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies and experience of driving such activities High level of fluency in spoken and written English. Proficiency in Swedish is a strong merit. Preferably has been trained to audit: - Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 or equivalent - ISO 13485 Quality System for Medical Device - Regulatory requirement CFR 820 issued by Food and Drug Administration in USA. - Regulatory requirement EU Regulation 2017/745 issued by the European Union
