Business Development Manager (Building Services)📍 Sussex | Full-Time | PermanentWe are currently working with a well-established and growing building services and HVAC specialist to recruit a Business Development Manager to support continued expansion across the South East.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual to join a reputable business with a strong presence across multiple sectors, including education, leisure, residential, and industrial environments.The CompanyOur client is a respected provider of maintenance, installation, and commissioning services across commercial gas systems, HVAC, and wider building services.With a strong reputation for quality and compliance, they deliver tailored solutions backed by industry accreditations and a commitment to high service standards. Their client base is diverse, and they offer long-term service contracts alongside reactive and project-based work.The RoleAs Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth while developing existing client relationships.This is a client-facing role involving a mix of lead generation, account management, and strategic sales, working closely with internal technical and service teams.Key responsibilities include:Identifying and securing new business opportunities across target sectorsManaging and growing existing client relationshipsGenerating leads and building a strong sales pipelinePreparing proposals, tenders, and quotationsNegotiating contracts and closing dealsConducting client meetings and site visitsCollaborating with internal teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectationsSupporting overall sales strategy and business growth objectivesThe CandidateWe are looking for a motivated and commercially aware individual with experience in business development within the building services or HVAC sector.Requirements:Proven experience in business development or salesBackground in building services, HVAC, gas, or maintenance services (highly desirable)Strong track record of winning new business and hitting targetsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to manage multiple opportunities and prioritiesExperience using CRM systems and Microsoft OfficeFull UK driving licence and willingness to travelDesirable:Background in Business, Marketing, or a related fieldExperience working with service contracts or maintenance agreementsThe PackageSalary £60,000 - £70,00015% bonus8% pension£6,000 car allowance25 days holidayWhy Apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation and solid client base, where you can make a real impact on growth while developing your career within the building services sector.WR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
